John is a Certified Public Accountant and CEO of Entertainment Financial Services, Inc which was founded in 1992. He is a recognized expert in matters pertaining to the creation, exploitation, brokerage and accounting for record masters, song copyrights, book manuscripts and video masters. He has extensive experience in managing financial, technology and marketing matters for professional athletes, coaches, recording artists, entertainment entrepreneurs and not-for-profit organizations. Current and past clients include multi-platinum selling recording artists in all genres of music, athletes and coaches in both the National Basketball Association and National Football League and not-for-profit organizations ranging from $500,000 to $500,000,000 in annual revenue. John’s professional experience began in 1982 and includes eight years with Certified Public Accounting firms, three years as Chief Financial Officer of Forefront Records (a division of Capitol Christian Music Group), and has been the owner and CEO of Entertainment Financial Services since 1992. He is a published author of articles on financial matters related to intellectual property and not-for-profit management issues and has been a speaker at music industry conferences on song copyright and record master brokerage issues.

After graduating from the University of Mississippi in 2012, Michael joined the staff of Entertainment Financial Services and provided royalty auditing and business management services to his clients. In 2016, Entertainment Financial Services created a Compliance Services Department to better meet the needs of our clients. Michael was instrumental in establishing this department, which he now manages as well.

Kim Carson graduated from SMU and has been in the Nashville area since 1989. She has had a variety of roles in the music business since 1995. In 2003, she became an Executive Assistant and handled accounting needs for a roster of clients, most of whom were in the music field. Today, Kim is one of our key business managers whose experience continues to be a great asset to all our clients.

Meagan graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management. After graduating, Meagan moved to Nashville and began working in the events and marketing industry. Since that time, she has built strong relationships with clients and business partners, supervised staff, made daily management decisions & used social media to help promote a successful business. She has been with Entertainment Financial Services since 2018 and is now our head compliance analyst.

Teresa has spent 30+ years designing and directing events and has worked with large corporations, schools, churches and nonprofits. Through the design of new fundraising events, directing existing events, grant writing, designing direct mail campaigns and more, she has been directly involved with raising millions of dollars in funds. Working with businesses, she has directed and coordinated events ranging from department trainings to large, international incentive sales reward trips. Teresa now offers these services to Entertainment Financial Services clients so they can take advantage of her experience, creativity and strong work ethic to ensure their event success as well.

Since graduating from Auburn University in 2009, Catherine Sage has served in a variety of roles. She has worked as an adoption caseworker, grant writer, and most recently as the Director of Children’s Ministry for her church. She currently serves as compliance analyst for the company’s various client projects.

Rhonda is a graduate of Belmont University with a degree in Music Business. As a Nashville native, she has worked in the music industry for 20 plus years. She has handled the business management needs for various artist in both the Country and Christian markets. Her current focus is on royalty audit analysis as well as compliance analysis for client projects.
